Large doesn't quite convey the size of this brown firelizard, though enormous might come close. As big as a bronze, he carries himself with obvious pride and obvious ego. Bands of reddish brown join those of orangeish brown and cream to wrap around his massive frame, while darker spots here and there whirl a counterpoint. One large oval spot sits crookedly over his broad muzzle and up to his left eye, interrupting the normal flow of the banded colors.
